Alzheimer's disease prevention

Please look at these two links:
1) How the government intervened into the Finnish diet to eat less fat (unfortunately conflated with more exercise, less drinking and smoking which is fair enough!).
2) Finland has the highest alzheimers/dementia today whereas it was more coronary heart disease in the past.
I find it an interesting case as the government intervention has statistically changed the prognosis on a national level. It is not often a trend like that shows up and makes you wonder.. unless there is a genetic predispotition at play.
